ok mine does this but i have a password on mine and when i restore it it tells me i need to take off the code but i can because nothing shows up besides the itunes emblem and the usb cable. what do i do??!!
you can do it mutch easier you don’t have to turn it of just open iTunes and connect ur iPod/iPhone trough usb en pres the home button and the sleep button at the same time for ten seconds and continue after that wit pressing the home button for 30 more seconds and iTunes will regonyze it in recovery mode
I’m having a little trouble with my new iPhone.
It was originally a 1.1.1 version, and I updated it to a 3.0 version. The update finished it’s download and my iPhone “restarted” and “synced” with the new version on my iTunes. Once it was done, it started saying that the SIM card I had wasn’t “compatible”, or something, when it had been working just fine before the update… I’m going to try restoring it, but I don’t know if it’ll solve my problem.
Any idea on what’s up and how to fix it?
and am so happy i didn’t lose my 3.0 everything was backed up. ok now i really can go to bed.. its like 4 a.m frankfurt time…

it didnt work the slide to shut off did not appear

its saying error = -3259
i did all that, then itunes started downloading “iphone software update” but then all the way at the end this is what i keep getting.
“”There was a problem downloading the software for the iphone “iphone”. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later”"”
Any idea on wats the problem, i have the newest version of itunes and a 2.2.1iphone

hold down both home and power then it will hard shutdown/reboot
didnt work for me when i detatch it from the computer and turn it on, it shuts off its only on when its in contact with a computer.
i agree with fucking gabeft its stuck and it dont show recovery mode it show dfu mode
my itouch won’t even show the ‘slide to power off’ thing. it’s just frozen! it has the slide to unlock thing so i slide the arrow over but when i try to put in my passcode (when i press the buttons/numbers) it doesn’t do it. PLEASE HELP ME!

hey this is to any one one here my friend downloaded the wrong jailbreak for her iphone 3g and now it says on her ipod to conncet it to her pc but when she does it tels her error 1604

when the thimgs done downloding it says make sure network settings are correct or make sure your network connection is active ot try again later but i been doing this for weeks what should i do
